HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A 53-year-old Georgia man has been charged with attempting to stalk Miley Cyrus, the Associated Press reports.
Mark McLeod was arrested after he showed up last weekend on the set of Cyrus’ new movie, “The Last Song,” after being warned to stay away from the teen star.
McLeod was first arrested in June on charges of disorderly conduct and obstruction. He told police at the time that he was secretly engaged to marry Cyrus.
Disney security notified authorites when McLeod came back last weekend and inquired about Cyrus’ whereabouts.
He is currently being held in jail.
The “Hannah Montana” star has been shooting her new film on Tybee Island and in nearby Savannah.
