HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Now here’s two people you can count on to keep a secret!
Monica and Shannon Brown have revealed they secretly married last year on Nov. 22.
"This is a very special time in my life," Monica tells the Web site HipHollywood.com. "I am blessed to have married the man that God sent me, he’s loving, compassionate, strong and supportive of my children, family and career. I look forward to our lives together."
"It’s true," added Brown in an interview with hiphopnonstop.tv. "That’s my wife, I’m her husband, you know. We’re going to continue to make positive things happen."
The R&B singer and NBA star reportedly tied the knot in quiet ceremony held at their Los Angeles home. They plan to have a more elaborate wedding this summer.
Monica, 30, and Brown, 25, met last summer when the Los Angeles Lakers guard appeared in her "Love All Over Me" music video.
