LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil was arrested for suspicion of DUI late Sunday in Las Vegas, the Associated Press reports.
The 49-year-old rocker was taken into custody around 11:15 p.m. after police stopped his black Lamborghini near the Las Vegas Strip.
According to TMZ, police were looking for Neil after a woman claimed he grabbed her camera and broke it after she took his picture Sunday night.
The singer was released Monday after posting $2,000 bail.
This isn't the first time Neil has been been involved in a drunken driving case. In 1984, he crashed head-on into another car in Redondo Beach, Calif., killing his passenger, Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley, a 24-year-old drummer with the group Hanoi Rocks. He later served jail time after pleading guilty to manslaughter and drunken driving.
The latest DUI arrest comes less than a week after Neil declared that he was completely sober in an interview with AP.
"There's just a point in your life where you kind of stop, that's what happened with me," he said. "There's other things in life than just drugs and alcohol."
