HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The world is buzzing that Michael Jackson has a secret love child son.
Speculation is that a 25-year-old rapper named Omer Bhatti was born after Jackson had a one-night stand in the mid-1980s with a Norwegian woman named Pia Bhatti.
Bhatti was photographed sitting in the front row with the Jackson family at the music icon’s public memorial service on July 7.
Jackson, who died on June 25 at the age of 50, reportedly first met Bhatti in 1996 during his “HIStory” tour. The two later reconnected by allegedly spending time together at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch.
Bhatti is said to be seeking a DNA test to determine whether Jackson is indeed his father. When asked about the rumor, Jackson’s older brother Jermaine said it’s quite possible Bhatti is a member of the showbiz family, which also includes Jackson three known kids, Prince Michael, Paris Katherine and Prince Michael II, better known as Blanket.
“If Omer’s his son, he’s his son,” Jermaine told reporters after the story broke. “We won’t deny it. We are going to give him the same love and care that we give Prince and Paris and Blanket. I can’t clearly say if he is Michael’s but I saw this kid around him.”
