Penelope Cruz Silences Pregnant Rumors

Penelope Cruz, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, newHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Penélope Cruz is fed up with hearing rumors that she's pregnant.

For weeks, tabloids have claimed the 35-year-old actress is expecting a baby with boyfriend Javier Bardem. Cruz says the pregnancy rumors have even sent her friends out shopping.

"I start getting some presents from friends saying, 'Congratulations, you're pregnant.' And I say, 'No, I'm not, so return the presents,'" she told USA Today at Thursday's premiere of her new film, "Broken Embraces," at the Toronto International Film Festival. "It's amazing."

More proof that the Spanish beauty isn't pregnant: she's continuing to spoke cigarettes.

Cruz and Bardem were first linked in the summer of 2007, but their relationship wasn't officially confirmed until Woody Harrelson let the cat out of the bag the following year at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
