HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Peter Fonda made a grisly discovery Wednesday when he found a dead body in Los Angeles.
The Easy Rider star became suspicious when he noticed a car had been parked on a side street off Sunset Boulevard for two days. When he went to investigate, Fonda found a man who had committed suicide several days earlier, Los Angeles Police Homicide Detective Allen Shubert told CNN.
"He looked in the vehicle and saw a body in there and called the fire department," Shubert said.
The man’s identity has not been revealed.
The 70-year-old actor is the son of Henry Fonda and the brother of Jane Fonda.
