LOS ANGELES – Pia Toscano and Mark Ballas have sparked dating rumors after the pair went out with a group of friends on Friday night in Los Angeles.
"Mark is a really sweet guy," the recently eliminated "American Idol" contestant tells People of the "Dancing With the Stars" pro. "He’s just a really good friend, I guess."
Toscano said the duo shares a common bond via their own personal reality television experiences.
"Me and Mark vibe well together because he knows what I’m going through," she tells the mag. "He gets judged every week and he’s kind of on a similar show, only I’m singing and he’s dancing, so he’s a really nice person to have support from.
The singer also said Ballas offered great support after her shocking elimination from the Fox competition last week.
"He’s just really sweet and extremely supportive and he just said, ‘You know, better things are to come,’" she said. "It’s nice to have him in my corner."
