Peter Farrow, a 66-year-old sculptor, died as a result a single gunshot wound to the head, officials confirmed Wednesday to The Associated Press.

Farrow was found dead at his art gallery, which was located adjacent to the home he shared with his wife Susan, a fellow artist. He operated the Farrow Gallery in Castleton, Vt.

“It’s hard to think of Castleton without them,” Tom Conroy, a communications professor at nearby Castleton State College, told AP. “They were a part of the town and they were a part of the campus for a lot of us.”

It is the second tragedy in recent time for the 64-year-old Golden Globe winner. Her daughter, Lark Previn, died after a lengthy illness on Christmas Day.

“The family of Patrick Farrow is grieving the tragic loss of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who sadly chose to take his own life,” said the star’s manager in a statement. “They greatly appreciate the support of their friends during this difficult time.”
