Rapper N.O.R.E Arrested Following Fight at Miami Beach Fatburger

MIAMI BEACH — Rapper N.O.R.E. was arrested early Sunday in Miami Beach after he allegedly got into a fight with a customer at the fast-food chain Fatburger, according to The Associated Press.

N.O.R.E., whose real name is Victor Santiago Jr., reportedly got into an exchange with a fellow diner, leading him to rip up a bouquet of flowers before throwing a drink at the man. He then punched the customer in the face and yelled, “Do you know who I am?,” authorities told AP.

According to a police report obtained by AP, the man suffered a cut on the left side of his face.

N.O.R.E was released after being charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct, AP says.

The 31-year-old musician, who previously went by the name Noreaga,  released his first album in 1998 and is best known for the songs “SuperThug” and “Nothin.'”
