HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jennifer Aniston is setting the record straight after a tabloid suggested she had "signed and sealed" papers to adopt a baby from Mexico.
The adoption report appears in the latest issue of Star magazine, which claims the actress has even built a $250,000 nursery in her Beverly Hills home and hired a nanny used by her former Friends co-star, Courteney Cox.
"It is completely false," her rep told People magazine in a statement Wednesday. "Jennifer is not adopting a baby from Mexico, nor does she have a nursery in her home and she has not hired a nanny. It is all a work of fiction."
While Aniston won’t be starting a family, she may be receiving an award she’d rather not receive. Earlier this week, she was nominated for worst actress by the annual Razzies, which "honor" the worst movies, actors and filmmakers.
