HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Rooney Mara’s rep is shooting down reports that the actress was injured on the set of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
"She was not injured. There is no truth to it whatsoever," her rep tells The Hollywood Reporter. "She hasn’t even started shooting it."
Swedish outlet Nojes Bladet reported that the Sony production had been shut down after the 25-year-old Mara "severely injured" her shoulder.
Mara is starring as computer hacker Lisbeth Salander in Dragon Tattoo, which is based on the first book in Stieg Larsson’s best-selling series. The film also stars Daniel Craig, who will portray discredited journalist Mikael Blomkvist.
Mara will next been seen in The Social Network, opening in theaters on Oct. 1.
