NEW YORK — Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly have reportedly settled on a wedding date.
According to the New York Post, the couple is planning to get married on Nov. 5 at Long Island’s Oheka Castle, the same site as Kevin Jonas’ wedding last month to Danielle Deleasa.
The newspaper said it discovered the date when a reporter went undercover after receiving a tip about the nuptials. Posing as a bride-to-be, the journalist met with Oheka Castle sales manager Rick Bellando and caught a glimpse of a wedding schedule calendar that listed Jeter’s name in bold letters.
When the reporter pressed further, Bellando said the date wasn’t reserved for the New York Yankees star and that the wedding planners never use a celebrity’s real name.
In August, the Post reported that the couple was telling friends to “save the date” for a fall wedding.
“Derek and Minka are secretly engaged,” an insider told the gossip site at the time.
While the source claimed the pair would say “I do” after the baseball season, a rep for the actress denied the nuptial report.
“There is no fall wedding planned to Derek Jeter,” said Kelly’s rep.
Jeter, 35, and Kelly, 29, have been dating since 2008.
