HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Shia LaBeouf was reportedly driving with his "Transformers" co-star Isabel Lucas when he crashed his vehicle early Sunday morning in Hollywood, a source tells Us Weekly magazine.
The 22-year-old actor's truck struck another vehicle around 2:24 a.m. and rolled over following the impact. LaBeouf suffered a severe hand injury, while Lucas and the driver of the other vehicle were treated for minor injuries.
Another source tells Us Weekly that LaBeouf was watching live music at the Troubadour in West Hollywood earlier in the evening.
"He was dancing around and acting really crazy," the source said. "He kept doing shots of whiskey.
"He stayed until the band was done and then stumbled out of the club by himself," they added.
The "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" star was booked for a misdemeanor DUI.
In a statement released Sunday evening, LaBeouf's rep, Melissa Kates, said: "Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of 'Transformers 2' within one month. No further comment will be issued at this time."
