HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lindsay Lohan was free of alcohol in her system just hours after her SCRAM bracelet went off earlier this month at an MTV Awards afterparty, E! News reports.
Lohan, 23, was reportedly ordered to take a urine test right after the device was triggered, with the negative test results coming back today.
"They did a urinalysis through Medtox labs and it was indicated conclusively that there was no alcohol in her system at that time," a source with knowledge of the results told the celebrity news site.
In May, Lohan was ordered to wear the alcohol-monitoring bracelet at a progress report hearing stemming from her 2007 DUI conviction. The judge overseeing her case raised her bail to $200,000 after the SCRAM device went off.
Lohan, who is due back in court on July 6, took to Twitter after the incident to deny any wrongdoing in a series of messages filled with spelling and grammatical errors.
"My scram wasn’t set off," she wrote. "Its physically impossible considering I’ve nothing for it to go off – All of these false resports are absolutely wrong."
Added Lohan: "This is all because of FALSE accusation by tabloids & paparazzi & it is f—— digusting – I’ve been more than I’m compliance & feeling great."
