HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The wait is officially “ova” for Rihanna’s new single.
On Tuesday, the 21-year-old singer debuted her new track “Russian Roulette” from her forthcoming album Rated R. The song was written and produced by Ne-Yo, whose long track record with the R&B star includes the No. 1 hit “Unfaithful” in 2006.
The “Russian Roulette” video, shot and directed last weekend in New York City by Anthony Mandler, will premiere in prime-time on ABC.
Rihanna’s fourth studio album will drop on Nov. 23. The album is Rihanna’s first release since 2007’s Good Girl Gone Bad, which included such chart-topping hits as “Umbrella” and “Don’t Stop the Music.”
In addition to Ne-Yo, other producers and writers on Rihanna’s new album include the team of The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, Chase & Status, Stargate and Justin Timberlake.
