HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Robert Redford is a married man again.
The Oscar-winning star tied the knot on Saturday, marrying his longtime girlfriend, Sibylle Szaggars, at the Louis C. Jacob Hotel in Hamburg, Germany.
According to local media reports, the couple’s evening wedding was an intimate affair in front of approximately 30 family members and friends. The groom wore a white suit while the bride, an internationally known abstract artist, donned a champagne-colored gown.
Redford, 72, and Szaggars, 51, have been dating for more than a decade after meeting at his prestigious Sundance Film Festival.
It is the second trip down the aisle for Redford, who was previously married to Lola Van Wagenen from 1958 to 1985. The Hollywood icon has three surviving children with his ex-wife.
Redford and Szaggars are planning a second wedding ceremony this September in Mexico.
