Sienna Miller in Talks for 'Nottingham' Movie Role

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sienna Miller is currently in negotiations to appear in the upcoming Robin Hood-based film, "Nottingham," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 26-year-old actress would star as Maid Marion in the Universal production, in which Russell Crowe has already been cast in the lead role as the Sheriff of Nottingham.

According to the trade publication, the film will depict the Sheriff of Nottingham as more of a noble lawman than as an evil king's right-hand man as he faces off with a more shadier Robin Hood in the Sherwood Forest.

Details of how Marion will be depicted in the new screen version have yet to be revealed. Historically, she has been the object of Robin's affection — someone whom he steals from the evil King John.

Miller recently completed shooting the feature "G.I. Joe," in which she plays the Baroness.
