HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sienna Miller says she's having the time of her life, thanks to a flourishing film career and a rock solid relationship with boyfriend Rhys Ifans.
"The big thing I've discovered, the big secret, is that it's all about how happy you are," she reveals in the July issue of the U.K.'s Elle magazine. "People forget your flaws and imperfections if they see you're happy."
The 26-year-old actress has a pair of films slated for release later this year, "Hippie Hippie Shake" and "The Edge of Love," a film in which her role was originally reserved for Lindsay Lohan. Having landed it, Miller faced the daunting task of having to put on weight for the film, which co-stars Keira Knightley.
"I had to face seeing myself alongside Keira, who is the most beautiful woman in the world," she says, adding that Knightley is "one of the nicest" people she's ever met.
As for her relationship with Ifans, Miller says she's very much in love again following her well documented break-up from actor Jude Law in 2006, with whom she was once engaged.
"When his name is mentioned, it makes me smile like a fool because I instantly think of him and it makes me happy," the "Factory Girl" star tells Elle of Ifans. "He does just make me happy."
"[Rhys] is the best cook ever," she adds. "His cooking completely reflects his personality; he does these mad, quirky dishes that taste completely wonderful, like carrots poached in mandarin juice."
Miller confesses to have her own share of cuisine adventures, including a love for "French fries dipped in [a] chocolate milkshake."
As for those latest engagement rumors, Miller admits, "I totally love Rhys," but she says there are no immediate plans for her and her 39-year-old beau, who started dating last year, to tie the knot.
"No ring," she confesses. "It's so embarrassing when these stories come out and your relationship has been somehow fast-forwarded. We both had our mums on the phone. It's just awkward. But I'm so happy with our relationship."
