MIAMI, Fla. — The European tour for Lenny Kravitz is on hold after the singer was rushed to Miami’s Mount Sinai Hospital on Monday with a severe case of bronchitis.
The 43-year-old rocker has been suffering from a series of severe respiratory tract infections combined with the flu since mid-January, a spokeswoman for the singer tells Reuters.
“Due to extreme dehydration and fatigue, doctors were unable to control it with outpatient treatment and advised the singer to check into the hospital,” Kravitz’s spokeswoman said in a statement.
Kravitz has been planning to tour Europe in support of his latest release, “It Is Time For a Love Revolution.”
It is still unclear how long Kravitz will be hospitalized or when the singer might be able to resume his tour plans.
