CHICAGO — Financial advisor Suze Orman is recovering after undergoing an emergency appendectomy over the weekend in Chicago, her rep revealed Wednesday.
Orman, host of CNBC’s The Suze Orman Show, had the surgery on Saturday night (her 59th birthday) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, spokeswoman Kristin Bouton told the Chicago-Sun Times.
Orman was released from the hospital on Tuesday and is currently resting at a Chicago hotel. She plans to return home to Florida after taking a few days to recover, Bouton said.
In addition to her popular television show, Orman has also published several New York Times bestsellers.
