LOS ANGELES — Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift were among the young stars winning top honors Saturday at Nickelodeon's 23rd annual Kids' Choice Awards.
Lautner won favorite movie actor for his New Moon role as hunky werewolf Jacob Black, in addition to taking home the inaugural cutest couple award with his Twilight co-star Kristin Stewart.
Swift also had a big night, winning favorite female singer and favorite song for "You Belong With Me." Fellow winners in the music categories were the Black Eyed Peas for favorite music group and Jay-Z for favorite male singer.
Miley Cyrus also scored an orange blimp trophy for favorite movie actress, receiving the award from singer Katy Perry.
Other notable individual winners included Dylan Sprouse for favorite TV actor and Selena Gomez for favorite TV actress.
In the television and movie categories, winners included Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel for movie, Up for animated movie, iCarly for TV show, American Idol for reality show and SpongeBob SquarePants for cartoon.
Miranda Cosgrove and Keke Palmer presented First Lady Michelle Obama with Nickelodeon's first-ever Big Help Award for inspiring families to be healthy and active through her recently launched Let's Move! initiative. In a taped acceptance, the First Lady acknowledged it was an honor to receive the award and she encouraged kids to be active and take control of their lives and health.
Comedian Kevin James hosted the annual slime fest, held at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles.
