HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Taylor Momsen is certainly fitting the profile of a rock star more and more every day.
The 17-year-old Gossip Girl star is making headlines again after she joked about having sex with a priest.
"I was raised Catholic," Momsen said during a recent interview with a New Zealand radio station, according to Us Weekly. "I f–ked a priest once…I’m just kidding."
The young star added that her band, The Pretty Reckless, wrote the song "Going Down" as a statement against priests accused of molesting children.
"It seemed like a very fitting song to write at the time," she explained. "It was kind of a f— you to all the molestation going on. It was just insane."
The young star also fired back at critics who slammed her for talking about using a vibrator in a recent Disorder Magazine interview.
"I’m not a whore for masturbating, so f— you if you want to call me one," Momsen said. "I think women should equally be allowed to pleasure themselves as much as men. I think that if that has any more controversy than a man talking about pleasuring himself, then there’s something wrong with the world."
