Television Academy Foundation Launches Annual Emmy Season Online Auction

Jimmy Fallon, Primetime, Emmy Awards, Emmys, eBay, auction, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation has launched its 3rd annual Primetime Emmy Season Online Auction on eBay.

Among the items up for bid this year are VIP tickets and set visits to How I Met Your Mother, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and a behind-the-scenes tour of The Young and the Restless, hosted by series star Kate Linder. Select visits include a tour with a cast member, such as Aziz Ansari from the hit show Parks and Recreation, and VIP seating to a taping of E!’s The Soup, with a special meet-and-greet opportunity with the show’s host, Joel McHale.

Additional items this year include a Rescue Me firefighter helmet signed by series star and creator Dennis Leary, and a signed script and memorabilia from the pop culture phenomenon, Lost. For Simpsons fans there is a special issue of Emmy Magazine, the official publication of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, featuring signatures from all of the principal voiceover actors. For the ultimate Emmy fan, there is an Emmy poster with autographs of winners and presenters from last year’s telecast including Ricky Gervais, Amy Poehler, Simon Baker, Neil Patrick Harris, Sigourney Weaver, and this year’s host, Jimmy Fallon.

Other unique items include a framed swatch of brown fabric from Monk‘s trademark suit signed by series star Tony Shalhoub, a visit to a table read for Family Guy, and props and signed memorabilia from such TV hits as 30 Rock, Hot in Cleveland and more. Television fans will also have the opportunity to experience the Emmys like a star by bidding on the HBO Emmys After-Party package.
