HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tila Tequila is blaming her bizarre Ustream video on having "flashbacks" from the night she was allegedly beaten by San Diego Chargers star Shawne Merriman.
Late Wednesday night, fans were able to watch the reality star rant for hours in the nude as she covered topics from her personal hygiene to Merriman, whom she referred to as a "woman beater."
"I couldn't sleep, and I started getting anxiety," Tequila tells TMZ of the video, which has since been removed from Ustream. "I just kind of flipped out a little bit."
At one point, Tequilla rambled: "People call me an attention whore ... or whatever ... but excuse me, I'm a grown a-- woman and I'm confident in myself ... I think a woman's body is a beautiful thing ... that's why I'm a lesbian ... I was born naked ... anybody who is against that is gay and in denial."
In September, Tequila signed a citizen's arrest warrant, charging Merriman with battery and false imprisonment after an early-morning incident at the football star's home. The San Diego District Attorney's office later declined to press charges, saying there was "insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that any crime was committed.'' But the Shot at Love star has now filed a $1.5 million civil lawsuit against Merriman.
"I just wish ... I hope that everybody gives me a second chance to support me this time, to give me a fair chance because they didn't give me a fair chance the first time," she said.
