Chris Cornell, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexyHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Timbaland has produced more than his share of hit albums and singles in recent years, so when he says his best work is yet to come, as he did Thursday on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, it’s hard not to stand up and take notice.

The 37-year-old super producer was speaking about his recent collaboration with Chris Cornell, in which he’s currently putting the finishing touches on the former Soundgarden and Audioslave singer’s third solo effort.

“This is the best work I’ve done in my career,” Timbaland told Seacrest of the Cornell’s new album, which he’s currently mixing and hopes to release within a month.

Cornell echoed his producer’s enthusiasm, saying, “This is the most excited I’ve been about an album in years. The music is natural, not self-conscious … open.”

Along with Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam, Soundgarden became one of the most successful bands from Seattle’s grunge scene in the early 1990s. After 13 years with the band, Cornell released his first solo effort, “Euphoria Morning,” in 1999. He then spent six successful years with Audioslave, from 2001-2007, before releasing his second solo album, “Carry On,” last year.
