HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tom Cruise is speaking, but it’s definitely not from the grave.
The 46-year-old actor’s publicist, Jeff Raymond, was forced to release a statement Thursday after rumors swirled around the Web that the “Top Gun” star was killed during a fall from New Zealand’s Kauri Cliffs.
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tom Cruise is speaking, but it’s definitely not from the grave.
The 46-year-old actor’s publicist, Jeff Raymond, was forced to release a statement Thursday after rumors swirled around the Web that the “Top Gun” star was killed during a fall from New Zealand’s Kauri Cliffs.
“This is completely not true. Tom is not in New Zealand nor has he been there recently. This is erroneous and unreliable Internet garbage,” Raymond told Reuters.
Thursday’s bogus report mirrored a similar claim two years ago in which actor Tom Hanks was said to have died at the very same cliffs.
