HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tori Spelling is fighting back at a tabloid report claiming she’s undergone a drastic weight loss and is currently tipping the scale below 100.
The latest issue of Star magazine reports that the former “90210” actress weighs just 95 pounds, a claim Spelling steadfastly denied Thursday on her Twitter page.
“Star Mag…LIES!” wrote Spelling. “Literally not 1 factual thing in entire article. And, come 2 my house & weigh me Star! I’m 107lbs. if you care about FACTS?!?”
The tabloid reported that Spelling’s weight issues were brought on by a showdown with her husband Dean McDermott over his ex-wife’s tell-all book.
Spelling, 36, was hospitalized twice last month after experiencing severe abdominal pain. The reality star became the subject of anorexia rumors earlier this year, admitting to People that she struggled with how people perceived her weight loss after the birth of her second child with McDermott.
“I knew as soon as I left the house a week, even two weeks after giving birth, [to daughter Stella] people are going to take pictures and scrutinize,” she said in April. “Whereas mothers everywhere don’t even think about losing the weight for a year. It was hard to find that balance of what’s acceptable.”
