HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It’s a bit of life imitating art for Scottish star Ashley Jensen, who is pregnant with her first child.
The 39-year-old actress and her husband, actor Terence Beesley, will welcome their new baby in the fall, according to People.
The pregnancy announcement comes after Jensen’s “Ugly Betty” character, Christina McKinney, became pregnant on the hit ABC show last season.
Jensen and Beesley tied the knot in Big Sur, Calif. in January 2007. The couple had met eight years earlier while working on a stage production of “King Lear.”
In addition to preparing for motherhood, Jensen will soon be starring alongside Jenna Elfman in the new CBS sitcom “Accidentally on Purpose.”
