HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jamie Jungers claims she had a “boyfriend-girlfriend relationship” with golfer Tiger Woods, who is accused of having multiple affairs since marrying his wife Elin Nordegren in 2004.

“Every time we saw each other, it’s like we became more and more comfortable with each other, it just became more of an actual relationship, a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship,” the 26-year-old Jungers told Meredith Vieira on Friday’s Today Show as part of the network’s Dateline program, “The Secret Life of Tiger Woods,” airing this evening.

Jungers said she first met Woods while working as a Las Vegas VIP hostess. She said a friend of the golfer approached her and said Woods wanted to meet her.

“I kind of laughed and didn’t take it seriously because I didn’t think it would be Tiger Woods,” she recalled.

One thing then led to another after she was invited to join Woods and his friends at the MGM Grand later that evening. “The more we drank, the more, I guess, flirtatious we got,” she said, adding that they wound up spending the night together.

Jungers said she figured it would be nothing more than a one-night stand, but instead she heard from Woods the very next day.

“He said he loved spending time with me, would love to get to know me more, and he gave me his phone number and told me to save it in a different name in case I lost the phone,” she said.

During their alleged year-and-a-half affair, Jungers claims the pair met up in Vegas whenever the golfer was in town, with Woods hardly trying to hide their public displays.

“We went places together; people were taking our photographs in the nightclubs,” she explained. “When I went to see him at the MGM, I would have to check in under my name and say that I was there to see him, and Tiger would come down and get me.”

Jungers also alleges that Woods would fly her into Los Angeles on occasion whenever his wife was away. Vieira then asked if she ever felt guilty about seeing a married man.

“It was a thought in my mind, of course,” she replied. “I mean, I’m not raised to do something like I did, and I’m not saying it’s OK … [but] I had a crush on Tiger for many years. I was very excited and honored that he was interested in me.”

“I wouldn’t want somebody to do it to me, but I’m not going to take full blame for this,” added Jungers. “I never wanted this to come out, and I never would have said anything or I could have done it years ago.”
