HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kate Gosselin responded with a “wow” on Thursday when Regis Philbin predicted that one of these days her estranged husband Jon is going to prance back home wanting to get back together.
“We definitely have different goals at this point,” responded Kate to Philbin’s bold prediction on “Live with Regis & Kelly.” “A lot has changed. A lot of unexpected things have come up. It’s not ideal. And I can’t say that I think you’re right at all.”
Refusing to give up hope, Philbin responded: “If he came back tomorrow Kate and said, ‘Let’s put the past behind us. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and the kids’ … what would you say to that?”
“I don’t think I can answer that,” replied Kate. “A lot of our lives is public, but a lot is private, as well.”
