HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck team up on the big screen this weekend, co-starring in the political thriller “State of Play.”
Crowe plays an unconventional rogue journalist who is forced to investigate a murder that implicates his close friend, a U.S. Congressman played by Affleck.
The film also stars Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman, Helen Mirren and Robin Wright Penn.
