LONDON — Whitney Houston experienced a wardrobe malfunction while performing on “The X Factor” Sunday night, but apparently the show must go on.
Houston was singing her new single, “Million Dollar Bill,” when a strap on the back of her long silver dress suddenly popped open during the U.K. show. At first, the Grammy winner became distracted as she tried to fix the wardrobe issue. However, she eventually gave up and finished the song despite the draft.
“I sang myself out of my clothes,” Houston joked after her performance.
Houston was performing on the results show after serving as a guest mentor one night earlier.
The 46-year-old singer’s comeback album, I Look to You, debuted at number one last month.
