Watch: Greyson Chance’s ‘Paparazzi’ YouTube Video

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Greyson Chance may be ready to give Justin Bieber a run for his money.

The 12-year-old Chance has become a teen sensation in his own right thanks to a video he posted on YouTube, in which he performs a rendition of Lady Gaga’s "Paparazzi" at his school’s Sixth Grade Festival.

On Thursday, Chance stepped into the spotlight for the first time on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he admitted he’s never taken a voice lesson in his life.

"I write my songs for meaning. I either live them or feel them," the Edmond, Okla. resident said of finding the inspiration for his music.

Chance got a special surprise when Lady Gaga called into the show and urged him to keep following his dreams and to stay focused. However, that may not be such an easy task for the gifted teen.

"Let’s just say I’ve gotten a couple of numbers and made some new friends," he joked of his sudden fame.
