HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jude Law is about to become a father again.
The 36-year-old actor is expecting a child with his former girlfriend, whose identity has yet to be revealed.
"Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," Law's rep said in a statement released Wednesday. "Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."
The new baby will the fourth for Law, who has three children with his ex-wife Sadie Frost. The former couple split in 2003 after six years of marriage.
Up next for Law is an appearance on Broadway in "Hamlet," followed by the Christmas Day opening of "Sherlock Holmes," a film co-starring Robert Downey Jr.
