HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jude Law has become a father for the fourth time.
The "Cold Mountain" star's ex-girlfriend, Samantha Burke, gave birth to a baby girl late Tuesday, American Superstar has learned.
Law, who is no longer dating the Florida model, revealed that he was the father of the newborn in July.
"Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," his rep said in a statement at the time. "Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."
Law also has three children with his ex-wife Sadie Frost. The former couple split in 2003 after six years of marriage.
The 36-year-old actor is currently appearing in a Broadway production of "Hamlet."
His next film will be "Sherlock Holmes," which co-stars Robert Downey Jr. and opens on Christmas.
