Described by creator Josh Berman as a "life affirming dramedy," "Drop Dead Diva" comments on society's shallow obsession with beauty as it depicts the journey to self-discovery by a vapid model, killed in a car crash, who is sent back to earth in the body of a plus-size lawyer. Members of the cast and creative team were on hand to discuss the Lifetime series as the season one finale was shown.
