HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
Lisa Rinna is slamming Heidi Montag's recent plastic surgery, saying she hid the People magazine cover that featured the Hills star in order to protect her children.
"I will tell you I had to take that cover off the magazine before it came in the house," Rinna told Fancast at the anniversary party for her Sherman Oaks, Calif. store Belle Gray. "We have two girls. I don't think it is something you want to bring in the house and say, 'Oh, look.' "
Rinna, who has openly admitted to enjoying the benefits of such procedures as Juvederm and Botox, said it wasn't the first time she's gone into protective mode. In fact, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant said she often shields her two young daughters, Delilah, 11, and Amelia, 8, from the tabloids.
"I take a lot of the covers off of magazines if they are not appropriate," admitted Rinna, who is married to actor Harry Hamlin. "Obviously, we are raising two young girls. Anything that has to do with weight issues, I think you just have to be really careful."
She added, "I mean, you know – to each his own, is all I will say."
