Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato Split

Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato, split, break up, couple, together, dating, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It's over for Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato.

The Disney couple has split after a few months of dating, American Superstar has learned.

Jonas, 20, and Lovato, 17, first met on the set of Camp Rock in 2007. They began dating earlier this year.

"He's a complete gentleman, he takes me to the most amazing places... he's perfect!" Lovato gushed to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush when confirming the relationship in March.

So what caused the breakup? A source tells Us Weekly that Jonas "thought it wasn't a good idea for them to be dating and working together all time and was afraid it was ruining the friendship." He reportedly ended the relationship over the phone.

That fear could have something to do with the three-continent concert tour the Jonas Brothers will soon be embarking on with Lovato. The band will kick off the North American portion of their run on July 27 in Dallas, Texas. The summer and fall trek will also visit Latin America and Europe.
