HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Model Cindy Margolis and her restaurateur husband Guy Starkman are splitting, UsMagazine.com reports.
The couple, who have been married for nine years, have three children together. Margolis gave birth to son Nicolas, 5, following an in-vitro fertility treatment, while 2-year-old twin daughters Sabrina and Sierra were born via a surrogate mother.
“The end of any marriage is very sad, however, I feel blessed that Guy and I remain very close, we are truly the best of friends and the most devoted parents,” Margolis tells Us.
The 42-year-old Margolis was once known as the “most downloaded” person on the Internet. She recently shot her second pictorial for Playboy and will appear in the magazine’s July 2008 issue, something she hopes will spark up her dating life.
“I haven’t had a date in six-months,” she says, adding, “I grace the cover with [the headline] ‘Cindy Margolis is Sexy and Single!’ “
