Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz also gave Jamie Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet additional power as conservators to handle the pop star’s taxes.

In addition, Britney’s 30-year-old brother, Bryan, was named as a co-trustee of her trust. The singer set up the trust in 2004, establishing herself as the sole trustee. According to court papers, “all of Britney’s liquid assets are vested in the trust,” therefore none of the co-conservators have been able to avoid paying out-of-pocket for items. The trust funds will be used “to pay for Britney’s security, and to pay for her medicine, food, other day-to-day expenses, and for psychiatric and other essential medical services,” according to the court papers.

Goetz also said that a court-appointed attorney must submit an evaluation of the singer’s medical and psychological condition at the next hearing.

In other news today, it was revealed that investigators have spent more than 200 hours trying to serve Sam Lutfi with a restraining order, but to no avail. According to Jeryll Cohen, an attorney representing Jamie Spears, Lutfi, Britney’s friend and sometimes manager, has been “intentionally avoiding service.”

Jamie Spears and Wallet have been co-conservators ever since February 1, the day after the “Gimme More” singer entered UCLA’s Medical Center for psychiatric treatment. Britney left the hospital after a week of treatment on Feb. 6.
