HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adam Lambert gave his fans an early Halloween treat Friday with the debut of his new single, "For Your Entertainment."
"It's dance music with a glam-rock shuffle beat, in the style of T. Rex and 'Rock & Roll, Part 2,' " the American Idol runner-up explained on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Friday morning.
The single is off Lambert's forthcoming debut album of the same name, due to drop on Nov. 23. It was produced by Dr. Luke, who has worked with Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson and fellow Idol alum Daughtry, to name a few.
On Wednesday, the 27-year-old singer teased his Twitter followers that the track was perfect for getting down on the dance floor.
"Get ready to shake yo asses to this song," he wrote. "It'll make ya dance for sure."
