HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper have called time on their relationship.
A source tells Us Weekly that the Hollywood twosome is no longer dating, but says they remain in touch with the hope of working out their differences.
"They have been on and off for a long time," explained the insider. "Right now, they are taking some space from each other. They still talk all the time and are trying to work things out. They are still very good friends."
The split rumors hit a high note on Wednesday after Cooper was seen getting cozy with Lindsay Lohan at a Cannes Film Festival party.
Seyfried, 24, and Cooper, 31, met while filming 2008's Mamma Mia!
The actress, who is currently starring in Letters to Juliet, discusses her romance with Cooper in the June issue of Teen Vogue.
"A lot of people ask me, 'Is Dominic the one?' I don't know, and I'm fine with that," she says. "Too much planning can lead to heartbreak. Love is great and possible, always, but it's very rare to have the feeling that 'I want to be with this person forever.' "
