GREENSBORO, Ga. — Carrie Underwood is officially off the market.
The country star and her hockey beau Mike Fisher got married Saturday in a lavish wedding ceremony held at the Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga., American Superstar confirms.
"We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!" the newlyweds told People magazine in a statement.
The bride reportedly wore a Chantilly lace dress designed by Monique Lhuillier as she exchanged vows with the Ottawa Senators star.
Approximately 250 guests attended the nuptials, including country supercouple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Underwood previously told CMT Radio that guests wouldn't be munching on a traditional wedding cake.
"We're kind of doing cupcakes," said the former American Idol star, who ordered the treats from IveyCake, a Tennessee delicacy owned by the wife of her bass player, Mark Childers. "I consider myself a very traditional person. More than anything, we're going to get married, that's the important part. And we want everyone to have a good time, so we're doing some things like that, that are a little bit different."
Underwood, 27, and Fisher, 30, got engaged last December.
