GREENSBORO, Ga. — Carrie Underwood is officially off the market.
LOS ANGELES — Carrie Underwood and her hockey beau Mike Fisher are getting married!
"I'm happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn't be happier," Underwood's rep confirmed Monday. "No wedding date has been set at this time."
According to the Ottawa Sun, Fisher popped the question on Sunday, but he declined to offer any other details about the proposal during a morning news conference.
"We're both obviously excited and very happy," he said.
Underwood, 26, and Fisher, 29, started dating shortly after meeting backstage during one of the country star's concerts in March 2008. While they've mainly kept their romance on the down low, Underwood did recently gush over her boyfriend on the liner notes of her new album, Play On.
"Thank you #12," she wrote, referring to the center's jersey number. "You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way! I thank God for you every day... xoxo, Carrie."
