HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Britney Spears is anxiously awaiting the moving trucks.
The 27-year-old pop star is preparing for a change of address, having reportedly put her six-bedroom, six-bath Studio City, Calif. home on the market for more than $7 million.
"I just took my babies to our new home and they loved it! I can't wait to move in," Spears wrote on her Web site.
The singer's new digs are in the nearby Calabasas area, which should provide her with a little more freedom from the paparazzi.
According to court documents obtained last June by Access Hollywood, the "Womanizer" singer was seeking a "more quiet and less trafficked neighborhood." She was also searching for access to more "parks and recreation areas," as well as "a larger backyard," with her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, in mind.
On the heels of her sixth studio album, "Circus" being released last month, Spears will soon embark on her first tour in five years. The concert trek kicks off on March 3 in New Orleans, along with special guests The Pussycat Dolls.
