Kelly Killoren BensimonNEW YORK — Kelly Killoren Bensimon appeared in court Tuesday morning to face a misdemeanor assault charge for allegedly punching her boyfriend, Nicholas Stefanov.

"I'm really upset by the entire process," the 40-year-old "Real Housewives of New York City" star told Extra after the hearing. "My beautiful girls and I are being exposed to a horrible situation. I just think it just unsettling."

'Housewives' Star Kelly Bensimon Arrested for Punching Boyfriend Nick Stefanov

Kelly Killoren BensimonNEW YORK — Kelly Killoren Bensimon was arrested in Manhattan last week on a misdemeanor assault charge after she allegedly punched her boyfriend, Nicholas Stefanov, the New York Daily News reports.

"The Real Housewives of New York City" star turned herself into authorities last Thursday, two days after the alleged incident took place, the Daily News says.
