Taylor Swift scored six nominations while Michael Jackson followed close behind with five to lead the field of nominees for the 2009 AMAS. Both Swift and Jackson will compete for artist of the year at the Nov. 22 ceremony, along with pop star Lady Gaga, rapper Eminem and rock band Kings of Leon.
