Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers were the other big winners of the night, with the "Hannah Montana" star winning six times and the sibling trio surfing away with five trophies.
Cyrus also presented the Ultimate Choice Award to her "hero," pop star Britney Spears.
"Thank you guys so much," Spears told the audience. "I'm so happy to be here tonight with all of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. God bless!"
Other notable victors included "Transformers" star Megan Fox, who won female hottie honors, and Zac Efron, who won for music/dance movie actor in "High School Musical 3" and comedy movie actor and rockstar moment in "17 Again."
"Gossip Girl" also enjoyed a big night, scoring wins for stars Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick.
While the evening was filled with plenty of music and pranks, one bit that didn't go over so well was Dane Cook poking fun at the current nude photo scandal surrounding actress Vanessa Hudgens. The comedian was greeted by a chorus of boos when he quipped: "Girl, you gotta keep your clothes on!"
The 11th annual ceremony, which was hosted by the Jonas Brothers, will air Monday night on Fox.
