LOS ANGELES – Simon Cowell does 500 push-ups a day.
The 'X Factor' judge sticks to the same routine every day which includes regular exercise, breakfast in bed and at least four beers in the evening.
He told People magazine: "I'll do 500 push-ups in a day religiously, and if I can I like to have a workout. Then I have a steam and a bath but I always have breakfast in bed.

After weeks of rumors, American Idol makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy has confirmed to RadarOnline that she's engaged to the media mogul.
The couple's wedding date remains a secret, but their nuptials are expected to happen rather soon.
Cowell, 50, and Hussainy, 36, have been surrounded by engagement rumors ever since the Afghanistan native wore a diamond ring when the pair dined on Valentine's Day at Mr. Chow's in London.
The lovebirds started dating shortly after the Idol judge and his longtime girlfriend, Terri Seymour, split last August. Earlier this month, Cowell gushed over his new love during a U.K. television appearance.
"She's the one...She's very special," he said, while also adding, "I think I need to have little Simons around."
Cowell's publicist, Max Clifford, has previously noted a big change in his client since the love affair began.
"They are very suited," he observed. "She is someone who is independent and says what she thinks and feels, and he likes that. He's probably the happiest I have ever known him in the nine years I've been working with him."
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It turns out Simon Cowell isn't headed for the altar after all.
A rep for the media mogul is shooting down reports that Cowell is now engaged to his girlfriend of six months, American Idol makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy.
"I spoke to Simon in London yesterday afternoon, just before he took his flight back to LA," rep Max Clifford tells Us Weekly. "I asked him: 'Look, are you engaged? Is it true?,' and he said, 'No! No. I'm not engaged.' "

"Paula has been talking to me for months," the 50-year-old Cowell told Extra correspondent Terri Seymour. "I've always made it clear that in some capacity I want to work with Paula again. It might be here, it might be in England."
"I adore Paula. I miss her," he added of Abdul, who quit American Idol in August and has since been replaced by talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres.
Cowell announced his own departure from Idol on Monday, telling reporters at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour that he wanted to turn his attention to The X Factor, a program he launched in the U.K. in 2004. As for who will be joining him on the panel in the U.S. version, Cowell told Seymour that an announcement will "probably" happen in a few weeks.
While Abdul is a likely candidate, you can forget about seeing Victoria Beckham when the Fox show hits the airwaves.
"I never approached her. Never have, never will," Cowell said of the chatter linking Beckham to his new show. "I don't know where these rumors come from."

LOS ANGELES — After months of speculation, Simon Cowell confirmed Monday that he is leaving American Idol after the upcoming season to focus on the U.S. launch of The X Factor.
"The X Factor will launch in 2011," Cowell told reporters at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour in Pasadena, Calif. "Because of that, this will be my last season on American Idol."
Cowell will serve as the executive producer and judge of The X Factor, a program he launched in the U.K. in 2004.
"I'm thrilled that we have put a date on the launch of the U.S. version of The X Factor, and delighted to be continuing to work with Fox," the 50-year-old Cowell said in a statement. "We have a fantastic relationship, a great team and are all very excited about this."
Cowell is the second judge to exit the hit reality series. Paula Abdul quit Idol in August and has since been replaced by talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres.
The ninth season of American Idol premieres Tuesday on Fox.

On Monday's "Oprah Winfrey Show," the 48-year-old Cowell announced that he was donating $162,000 to a family struggling to take care of their 3-year-old daughter, Madelaine Stoen, who has cancer. The money will be used to pay off the family's mortgage.
